Liz has been working with Angels Media as a blog writer since 2023. She has had an extensive career in journalism and copywriting but won’t tell you how long – you’ll have to check her LinkedIn profile for that.

She’s one of those annoying people who always knew what they wanted to do, with ambitions of becoming a writer from the age of 5 and a journalist from the age of 11. Her starstruck time on work experience at Smash Hits magazine at 16 did little to put her off. After training in journalism at the London College of Printing she ended up in technology journalism. That proved she could write about pretty much any subject.

She then moved into retail journalism which she loved – something to do with her shopaholic tendencies apparently. She worked on the leading trade title Retail Week for several years as a reporter and then as features editor.

In 2008 she went freelance following a move from London to Bristol to have her children and has been freelance ever since. Her very first client was an estate agency business. She works for several publications and corporate clients in the property, retail, ecommerce and technology spaces but says we are one of her favourites.

Oh, and if you ever chat to her she might mention her VW T4 campervan or her paddleboard or her latest trip in the campervan, or the fact that she also writes for Campervan magazine, or her latest purchase for her campervan…… We’ve usually switched off by that point.
